The LIP-9040 is the most advanced, professional level handset within the iPECS LG-LIP-9000 series. The LIP-9040 comes in two versions, one being the LIP-9040C- which boasts an 8-line colour graphic and slightly larger screen compared to the 8-line greyscale graphic of the LIP-9040.

Being the most advanced handset within the series, our customers have deemed the LIP-9040 to be rich in both features and functionality. As aforementioned, the handset has an 8-line greyscale (or colour) graphic screen. There are also 2 x 3 pages of programmable feature keys- totalling 36 programmable features. As the professional handset, the LIP-9040 uses the highest quality in audio available at this time- Wideband Audio, and full duplex speakerphone. When comparing Wideband Audio to the more traditional Narrowband Audio, customers have found the former to be more clear, free of background noise and more defined- essential for conference calls.

The LIP-9040 also features Bluetooth capability and EHSA. Clients who are managers and work within large-scale offices find that this is essential to everyday operations. The EHSA- Electronic Hook Switch Adaptor- allows the handset to connect via Bluetooth to a wireless headset, and to switch between the devices with a simple push of the button. Furthermore, the LIP-9040 is UC enabled. UC (or Unified Communication) solutions brings together all the ways in which your business communicates- for example, phone calls, video conferences, email, SMS etc- so that they can all ‘talk’ to one another and work in one system. The effect is a single system managing multiple tools and platforms, resulting in reduced costs, improved efficiency and better customer service.

With so many features and applications the handset could have become confusing and complicated, however, we have found the LIP-9040 to be easy to use and navigate. The smart and logical design sees the key/number pad to the left, the fixed feature keys to the right, soft keys horizontally above and programmable feature keys aligned either side of the screen.
